Fritillaria meleagris (Snake’s head Fritillary – Mixed)

Delightful nodding bells of plum and white snake’s head fritillaries are naturalised in the banks of the burn here at Cambo and pop up in our bulb borders under the apple walk. Charming and exquisitely delicate their delightful chequered bells appear in early April. Fritillaries are easy to grow and establish well reaching 20-30cm. Seed head are striking and if left to mature, these will slowly naturalise throughout your garden.
