Join us to see which moths are flying in the garden here at Cambo. Traps will be set late at night on the previous day in order to attract night flying moths. They will be tidied away before dawn to keep them away from birds and to make sure the moths don’t suffer in the sun first thing. We’ll gather at 10am to look at the moths before releasing them back into the garden.

Duncan Davidson grew up near Nairn in the 60s/70s and like many of his generation collected all sorts of things including moths as a child. Many years later he rekindled this interest and became Butterfly Conservation’s designated County Moth Recorder for Fife for 10 years up to 2017. During that time he collated and verified moth records from all the other casual recorders in Fife – of whom there are around 120!
