Visitor information:

  • Outdoor cafe open daily 11am – 4pm. No need to pre book but track and trace details will be taken
  • Garden entry tickets can be bought in advance here on our website but can also be bought on arrival
  • Card payments only in the shop for entry, gifts and plants
  • For visitors with RHS, Historic Houses or Gardeners World 2 for 1 passes please report to the shop to receive your discounted entry.
  • Supporters please log in your visit at the shop on arrival
  • Dogs are welcome on leads everywhere
  • Plant order and collection service available 01333 451040

MINI MAKERS MARKETS – we can’t do our grand scale Christmas fair this year but each weekend are welcoming 5 makers to host a stall in the stables stalls until 13th December.

Cambo Gardens History

Cambo Estate lies on the east coast of Fife, 7 miles south of St Andrews. The present day estate, which has been in the Erskine family for over 300 years, dates from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It is included in ‘An Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland’ as an important example of a picturesque, model estate.

The buildings within the landscape include the stables, carriage house, coach house, mausoleum, walled garden, dovecote, lodges and 2 model farms, listed by Historic Environment Scotland.
