📸 Take Your Shot at Cambo! 🌿

Well done to all of you who entered our inaugural Photography Contest over the Summer. Over 250 photos were submitted and we were blown away by the creativity and beauty of the images captured here at Cambo. Our judges, John Murray, Ray Cox and Sir Peter Erskine, had an incredibly difficult task selecting the winners from such a wonderful collection of entries.

The competition was split into five categories: Heritage, Horticulture, Landscape, Portrait and Wildlife. There was also a separate section for people aged 16 and under.

John Murray, Scottish Influencer of the Year in the Visual Category 2024, on judging the competition: “I really enjoyed going through all the photographs. There was a great mix of styles and subjects, and it was really nice seeing Cambo from so many different perspectives. The Under 16s in particular had some really impressive photographs, and it was great to see so much creativity and thought going into the images.”

Congratulations to both of our overall winners: 🏆 Innes Munro (U16s) and 🏆 Michael Greenwood (Adults). The judges felt that Innes’ wonderful framing and eye-catching detail set his photo apart from the rest, while Michael’s photo masterfully caught the different colours and textures and captured a truly Cambo scene.

The overall runners-up were:
🎖️ Lucy N and 🎖️ Isaac R (U16s)
🎖️ Chris Reekie and 🎖️ Gerry Priest (Adults)
