A delicate, though vigorous double snowdrop with very green inner segments which look rather like a frilly petticoat. Flowers are held semi-erect on a near vertical pedicel and the whole plant has a rather spiky appearance. Found in a churchyard in Blewbury, Oxfordshire where this delightful snowdrop gets its charming name.
